Meet Max — Our Very Own Grinch’s Dog (but way cuter and less chaotic)

If the Grinch ever needed a second Max, this little guy would be hired on the spot. At 7 months old and 29 lbs, our Max is a red heeler mix who somehow ended up beagle-sized with the personality of a loyal cartoon sidekick.

Max is the full package:

Very well crate trained (like… impressive)

Dog-door skills: 90% downloaded

House training: nearly there, especially with someone who can take him out regularly

Toy enthusiast — this man LOVES toys

Great with cats

Good on leash

Car-ride approved

Food motivated + cuddly = perfect combo

Moderate activity level — young but not wild

Smart, eager to please, and loyal

He gets intimidated by big dogs, likely due to something in his past, so his doggy friends should be his size or smaller — or he’d be just as happy being your one and only.

All of our animals are fully vetted, which includes spay/neuter, up to date on vaccines, wormed, heartworm tested and treated if necessary, up to date on flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and microchipped prior to adoption.
