Meet Camie – The Sweetheart Sidekick  Breed: Beagle/Lab mix  Size: 50 lbs  Age: 4 years Camie is the perfect mix of playful and laid-back. She loves spending time with her people and will often quietly lounge by your desk while you work from home or relax nearby when the day winds down. She enjoys playing with other dogs and is comfortable with pups of all sizes, so she’d love to have a canine buddy in her new home. In fact, we think another dog is a must for her continued happiness and confidence. Camie has also been around respectful kids and does great with them. She’s friendly with people in general but can feel a little intimidated if a stranger rushes right up to her. Given a moment to check things out, she’s usually the first one to greet visitors with a wag. This sweet girl is:  Dog-door trained  Crate trained (she even tucks herself in at bedtime!)  Leash trained and a pleasure to walk  Great in the car (though she prefers a dog buddy to ride along, too!)  Very food motivated, which makes her eager and easy to train  Good with farm animals—including fowl—showing no interest in bothering them While a fenced yard would be beneficial for playtime, it isn’t required. Once Camie bonds with her people and has proper training, she does well off-leash and stays close. Camie is the kind of dog who will fit beautifully into the right home—smart, loyal, dog-friendly, and full of love. She’s just waiting for her perfect match.
